My Recovery from Trauma group is a 10-week programme designed to help individuals on their journey to healing and recovery from trauma. This unique programme offers a safe and nurturing space for participants to come together to stabilise their internal and external world in the group setting and foster a sense of hope for the future.
This programme helps individuals learn how to integrate their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours and encourages effective living in the present rather than recovery of repressed memories.
The model focuses on exercises that foster the development of self-awareness and processing the trauma on a feeling level with an emphasis on regulating those feelings. The model also teaches the importance of learning about the effects of trauma and why it continues.
Participating in my Recovery from Trauma group offers a range of benefits. You'll connect with others who have similar experiences, reducing feelings of isolation. Together, you'll gain insights and coping strategies from shared experiences and educational content.
